Hello my name is Kate, and I'm happy to meet you. I wanted to share a little about myself, how I got into photography and why I love my job, so ultimately, you're more comfortable working with me.

 

I have a lot of different roles in my day-to-day life, from being a "super" Mum to my two little boys, to running my own business, I've always got something to do. My family enjoys spending time together, especially outside in the sun. I can say without a doubt that photography is one of my greatest passions though.

 

I began the serious part of my photography journey about 2 years ago, just after I had my youngest son. I was looking for something creative to do while I was at home with my boys, so I went out and I bought a cheap DSLR and kit lens to learn on. (I soon out grew this camera and upgraded to a professional camera)

It was a very overwhelming experience, but I jumped right into learning the art of photography by studying and taking workshops with local photographers. I fell more and more in love with photography as my experience grew and I figured out that working with people was what made it so enjoyable for me.

 

Today, I'm proud to say I have captured many memories for local families and work with some amazing local businesses to grow their brand. Each of them have trusted me and my lens with capturing these important images. I take that responsibility seriously.

 

I believe that capturing raw and authentic moments is what's really important, when I'm taking photos for my clients and that is what I will strive to do for you....
